We are currently recruiting for an Strategic Bid Manager to join our established and experienced team on a hybrid basis. 


You'll make an impact by:

This role will be ‘Accountable’ for Bid Responses across CL & SL with a focus on writing/designing responses to our Strategic Partners and Delegated Authority partnerships. Working alongside Strategic Sales and Distribution leadership, the role holder will own the Pipeline Triage Forum, be accountable for Intact Insurance’s Bid Library, and write both tender and pitch presentation responses. 


You will be a crucial pillar in championing profitable growth and look to ‘Drive Change’ by challenging business areas for continuous improvement from analysis they conduct on our wins/losses. The role will need to develop a senior internal stakeholder network of Vice Presidents / Directors and challenge them as needed to deliver market leading responses and promote / improve the capabilities of Intact Insurance to the External Market. 


You will also need to be able to hold credibility within our sales community to add value to frameworks/processes that can aid profitable growth, whilst improving both broker and customer advocacy.

Your skills and experience 

You are a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for winning work through compelling proposals. You will have a background in bid management—ideally within the insurance, financial services, or professional services sectors but this is not essential. You will have experience in creating persuasive, compliant, and client-focused responses to tenders and RFQ's. 


You excel in managing multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and driving bid timelines from initiation through to submission. Your strong communication skills allow you to collaborate confidently with technical teams, sales, and senior leaders, turning complex solutions into clear, impactful narratives.
