GAIN can offer lunch & learns, webinars, fireside chats, keynote speeches and workshops on a variety of topics. Where in-person events are requested, depending on location and circumstances we may request cover of travel costs for speakers.
GAIN Speakers
GAIN has several well-developed and tested workshops we can offer to companies, designed to lead audiences through a neuroinclusion journey. These include introductory content such as our Neurodiversity 101 workshop and more complex, interactive workshops aimed at specific audiences, such as our Managing Neurodiverse Teams workshop and our Neuroinclusive Hiring workshop.

GAIN members may choose to use their annual event entitlement to book a pre-designed workshop with GAIN. We can also build more customised workshops, presentations and lunch & learns by combining individual modules from our workshop resources to create something for a specific audience. Foundation Silver members are entitled to one event per year included in membership, while Foundation Gold and Industry Transformer members are entitled to two events per year. Additional events can be purchased at discounted rates. Non-members may purchase an event, subject to GAIN speaker availability, at standard event rates.

Below you will find preview links for all tested workshops, as well as individual modules. If you would like to book a pre-designed workshop, you can request an event slot using this form. To build a custom workshop or presentation using our available modules, contact Vic and Bea, or your relationship manager. Based on your intended audience, topics of interest and event purpose, we can suggest which modules will best meet your needs.

Neurodiversity 201
A workshop diving into deeper aspects of neurodiversity which all impact the skills and approach needed by managers, leaders and HR, as well as neurodivergent people themselves, but which are hard to cover in an introductory workshop. A very useful level-up workshop to guide deeper understanding.
Full Workshop

Neurodiversity and the Working Environment
This shorter workshop is designed for learners who have already explored basic concepts around neurodiversity, and focuses on how to adapt the physical working environment. Can be made into a full 60 minute session by offering 30 minutes of Q&A.
Mini Workshop

A Quick Double Empathy Problem
This module combines content on the double empathy problem, affinity bias and psychological safety into one shorter module. Useful for recruitment or team culture related workshops where there is a lot of content to cover, or where there isn't time to explore each in depth
Individual Module

Universal Design Principles
A module introducing the concept of universal design principles in the workplace. This is a useful foundational module to help take learners from thinking of neuroinclusion as functioning through individual adjustments to instead considering how to change culture, environment and other norms to better support all employees.
Individual Module

Data on a Non-Inclusive World
A collated series of datapoints including information from the ONS Disabled People in the UK survey, the Vulnerability Experiences Quotient study, GAIN benchmark and individual member data, and a Zurich study on recruitment. This is a useful module for workshops and presentations aimed at senior leaders, but can also be useful in framing the human element of why neuroinclusion matters.
Individual Module

Common Adjustments
A short, simple introduction to the types of adjustments that may benefit neurodivergent employees in the workplace. This module is suited to introductory workshops that want to give a broad, easy overview of neurodiversity without diving too deep, and to shorter presentations that act as introductions to a roundtable, panel, fireside chat or Q&A session.
Individual Module

Common Neurodivergent Strengths
A very short module that includes a reminder on what "the spectrum" means, followed by a single slide outlining some common strengths by neurotype. This module may be useful for mini-workshops and short 10-20 minute presentations offered as an introduction to a roundtable, panel, fireside chat or other more interactive event.
Individual Module

Self-Advocacy Skills
A module that talks about workplace self-advocacy, exploring the specific barriers that make it more difficult for neurodivergent people, and others from marginalised backgrounds, to practice it. Also outlines the steps involved in effective self-advocacy. Includes links to resources.
Individual Module

Exploring Double Empathy
A module explaining what the double empathy problem is, and showing ways to reframe ways of thinking about communication. A more detailed module, suited to aid learning that impacts communication-related work such as management, recruitment and team building.
Individual Module

Adjusting the Work Environment
A module explaining the limitations and challenges of different work environments - office working, remote working and hybrid working - acknowledging that some neurotypes may be better served by one approach over another - which includes an optional longer section outlining how to make hybrid working neuroinclusive.
Individual Module

Visualisation Exercise
A short, interactive exercise that guides attendees through one example of the ways cognitive diversity impacts how people see, experience and process the world around them - illustrative and useful in many workshops, but especially recommended for introductory-level events and empathy-building.
Individual Module

The Business Case for Neurodiversity
Explores the talent gap, skills match and benefits of neurodivergent talent. Depending on audience, and overall workshop topic and aims, in some cases only the first 4 slides will be used. This module is particularly beneficial for presenting to senior leaders and recruitment teams.
