Menopause is a major life transition that often arrives at the height of a person’s working life. For neurodivergent women, perimenopause and menopause can bring significant changes to focus, energy, confidence, and sensory experience that isn't well-recognised or supported in the workplace, increasing feelings of imposter syndrome and burnout, and creating additional barriers to the career recognition and long-term career growth and stability they've spent decades driving towards.
Hosted during Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026, this panel brings together neurodivergent women with lived experience of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, as well as professional expertise in supporting neurodiversity in the workplace, to share how this transition has affected their working lives. The discussion builds on GAIN’s 2025 exploratory survey into neurodiversity and menopause, and is taking place alongside a larger, deeper survey live right now.
