We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Lines Strategic Account Manager to join our Strategic Account Management Team on a hybrid basis. This role is to be based from any of the following locations - Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, London or Glasgow. This role will drive and grow Intact Insurance's sales through building and maintaining partnerships with one or more large strategically important broker accounts across Intact Insurance UK.
You’ll make an impact by:
Develop, agree and maintain a minimum 3 year account strategy and plan for each strategic broker to achieve the overall GWP and profitability plan
Lead the identification, planning and winning of major strategic development opportunities
Demonstrate excellent working relationships with the trading and sales teams across CL & SL
Engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Build and maintain relationships at all levels with each strategic broker to thoroughly understand their strategy
Negotiate, manage and have responsibility for the central compensation structure
Your skills and experience:
Commercial Insurance Account Management experience is essential
Experience of driving new business pipelines, achieving broker plans and managing effective relationships
Have an excellent understanding of industry conditions across CL & SL, including Intact Insurance's propositions
Extensive experience and knowledge in applying best practice sales techniques
Experience in account planning
Negotiation, Strategic Thinking
