Service Transition Manager

This key role within the CIO organisation at Intact UK&I supports the Service Design and Transition function, ensuring changes are delivered in line with Service Transition processes and successfully embedded within IT Service teams. Working closely with Change Delivery Projects, project managers, and technical delivery leads, you will ensure transition requirements are planned, delivered, tracked, and reported to maintain service stability and operational readiness.

Ensure new IT services and changes are successfully transitioned and fully embedded within the business. Work closely with projects, technical leads, and service teams to monitor delivery, address issues, and maintain stability. Track service transition requirements, readiness, and key metrics, providing clear visibility on progress and risks. Support the Service Design and Transition team in embedding best-practice processes and improving service quality.

Experience supporting IT projects to ensure new services and changes are smoothly transitioned and fully embedded. Ability to work closely with project managers, technical leads, and service teams, influencing outcomes and helping teams make informed decisions. Skilled at tracking delivery, monitoring readiness, and providing clear updates on progress, risks, and issues. Good understanding of IT services and operations, with experience in service or change management; ITIL knowledge is desirable.
